15 here. Naturally.

I don't see how tender, is the opposite meaning of resilient? Confused
Report Johnny_Mustang June 29, 2018 9:16 AM BST
They'd be better words than tender to describe the opposite but it was a cleaner fit than the alternatives.
Report Johnny_Mustang June 29, 2018 9:16 AM BST
* There'd

4 = Kalanisi
8 = Philadelphia
Report screaming from beneaththewaves June 29, 2018 10:21 AM BST
9 = Austerlitz

The correct answer to (4) is 'Kalanisi, ridden by that **** Fallon, who gave it too much to do; he was riding a stayer FFS; what was the **** doing?"
Report screaming from beneaththewaves June 29, 2018 10:26 AM BST
Also, my version of Makybe's quiz gives 'timid' as the antonym of 'resilient'. Presumably they changed the answer once they'd had a think about it.

I didn't know the pop music question, MD. No surprises there.
Report Makybe_Diva June 29, 2018 9:59 PM BST
Lol, Foinavon. It's the maths questions that get me.

Charles Dickens lived during Victorian times but don't know the dates.
Mansfield Park came after Pride and Prejudice but I don't know if it was the last Austen novel to be published.

they appear to have changed the answer to "timid" and that is def wrong

Report Foinavon June 30, 2018 1:54 PM BST
Denzil is right. Cube 3D the others 2D
Report Foinavon June 30, 2018 2:01 PM BST
Resilient has several meanings depending on the context so has several antonyms. Tender is a poor choice, timid is much worse. Weak might have been better.
