I don't see how tender, is the opposite meaning of resilient?
![]() |
|
By:
They'd be better words than tender to describe the opposite but it was a cleaner fit than the alternatives.

I'll put a more difficult quiz on here to test ya all. no googling please.

Which horse finished runner up to Fantastic light in the princess of wales stakes? 5. What was the name of the prime minister of Russia who was shot and killed during the reign of Nicholas the II? 6. Who played King Arthur in the film Excalibur? 7. And who directed the same film? 8. The Comcast building is the highest building in which American city? 9. 4 = Kalanisi
8 = Philadelphia |
|
By:
9 = Austerlitz
The correct answer to (4) is 'Kalanisi, ridden by that **** Fallon, who gave it too much to do; he was riding a stayer FFS; what was the **** doing?" |
|
By:
Also, my version of Makybe's quiz gives 'timid' as the antonym of 'resilient'. Presumably they changed the answer once they'd had a think about it.

Charles Dickens lived during Victorian times but don't know the dates. Mansfield Park came after Pride and Prejudice but I don't know if it was the last Austen novel to be published. |

|
By:
Denzil is right. Cube 3D the others 2D
|
|
By:
Resilient has several meanings depending on the context so has several antonyms. Tender is a poor choice, timid is much worse. Weak might have been better.
