Pam Walters @pwalt11 Follow Follow @pwalt11 More @BBCBreakfast You have an item today on #upskirting and yet your programme is the WORST culprit due to your low camera angle. You must know that if you google any one of your female presenters you'll see clips recorded by voyeurs!!! I'm amazed you have not addressed this!!!! |

Coffee table to be raised tomorrow ?

what harm does it do?
By:
everyone knew it was a criminal offence, so what has changed?

Leo made it too obvious when he was hanging around the bottom of staircases in Ealing, imo

Why don't you try reading the o/p's post which shows that not all instances are regarded a criminal offence. I can't imagine any sane person stating "what harm does it do?". Would anyone say something like that if their wives or daughters were targeted by the sort of pervert who thinks this sort of thing is acceptable.

trilby....better not to project your pastimes onto others
Seems the MP promoting Bill is German : . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wera_Hobhouse On 6 March 2018, Hobhouse presented a Private Members' Bill to amend the Sexual Offences Act 2003; her bill would outlaw acts of voyeurism, especially upskirting, which are not currently explicitly covered by UK law.[24][25] Justice Secretary David Gauke signalled that the government would support Hobhouse's bill.[26] The bill was not debated at its presentation in the House of Commons; Why not? its second reading in the Commons is scheduled for 15 June 2018.[27] Hobhouse is a member of the governing council of the Electoral Reform Society.[28] Skirts and dresses to be made illegal as too provocative for weak men? Muslim effect ? |

By:
cooperman can you give an example of when this wasn’t a criminal offence ?
Thanks ... |
By:
You see if you read carefully the op , as you suggest, you will see that it doesn’t make any sense
Go ahead read it slowly |
By:
Now it says Gina Millar started the campaign after police failed to prosecute because the person was wearing underwarer and therefore no prosecution
I don’t think this mp is telling the truth now is she ? |
By:
now cooperman if someone is wanting to change the law can’t be bothered to tell the truth
And people like you are stupid enough to listen to her That’s not good , it’s dangerous when people are as stupid as that |
By:
You really don't read, or absorb what you read. Her name is Gina Martin, not Gina Millar[sic] and she isn't an M.P., merely a victim who was prepared to campaign for a change in the law. Stupid? Take a look in the mirror.
By:
I noticed that and expected you might mention it, that tells a lot right there
you don't understand why the op doesn't make sense do you try reading it again and come back when you know what your,re talking about, ta |
By:
Go ahead cooperman, take you time...
By:
* do you want me to chance that to , your time
before you stop throwing up dust ? |
By:

By:
Could you change chance to change....by any chance ?

By:

![]() |
By:
*not
By:
I'm not perfect....yet !
By:
yes leopard its difficult, its subtle
not the same thing as getting someone name wrong lets see if Cooperman can understand it, anythings possible |
By:
What about on a beach....is it going to be illegal to take photos of women in bikinis ?
By:
There is a law in place, now if that law should be changed then they are going to have to say why
And the person and people wanting to change the law will be best not to tell lies As in the op |
By:
because when I read that sort of nonsense in the op it makes me suspicious
I don't know why |
By:
I hope this applies to "upkilting" for when Aka and Trilby go on their annual holiday to Blackpool!

You'd think parliament would have better things to do than waste time on this issue which is to all intent and purposes already covered by legislation. Looks like the silly season has started earlier than normal this year.

Will tv presenters stop wearing low cut dresses? Steph McGovern (BBC) is always sitting front camera with a low cut dress to show a lot of thigh. BBC presenters are probably the worst for it imo.
By:
Had to look her up see who she was. What an oogly looking woman. Need something to divert from her boat, imo.
By:
A low cut dress that show a bit of thigh? Woah, that really is low! What channel did you say she was on again?

I know a women who was traumatised by upskirting. She had to grow a beard so she wouldn't be recognised.

How are the tabloid newspapers going to manage now without their daily front page photo of some Z-List bimbette getting out of a taxi, thighs strategically opened (completely accidentally of course) revealing her knickers?
By:
In short its a private members bill making it illegal to take photographs of private members
By:
lone tory objects to upskirting law change.!!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() Christopher Chope has blocked the upskirting laws at the last minute. An unquestionable act of misogyny. How could anyone hate women so much that they would want it to be legal to take pictures of her genitals without her consent? .. courtesy of twitter. |
By:
It might be something in the specifics he objects to. Doesn't necessarily mean he hates women.
