It would be funny if it wasn't so serious, I lived a mile away from runway one, so flew in and out many many times, I have queued too many times at passport control on return journeys only to see large tranches of people of people walk through with cursory glances of passports by depleted, tired, overworked staff, cutbacks have turned 'Customs Control' into a fackin joke. 
It is seriously shambolic, and another embarrassment to this country!
How many times have they been seen to let illegals go, by them promising they will return for a flight tomorrow?
Just compare it to their opposite numbers in Australia and Canada!
