emily bishop been injured for a while. never in it these days.

Our Emily has been digging a well in Peru for the last 18 months, word is she is all dug out & may return within the year.

Hopefully Jude's gone for good. He's was no saint but definitely a lost cause.

Nice win for County last night. They've been drawn against Walford Town in the next round.

It seems there are now too many characters with some missing from the screen for weeks.

On my list to go would be:

Mary
Johnny
Kate
Rana's brother (the lawyer)
Ali (Michelle's son)

My grandparents once told me that the woman in that picture used to be a bloke.  Did they mean in the show (i.e. the character), in real life (i.e. the actor) or were they pulling my leg?

That's another one ticked off.  Ali was a dreadful character imo.

Soap stars used to be like Rock stars in the country when audiences were 15/20m mil+, now Corrie averages like 5 million or so and has audiences lower than that, who can keep up with 5/6 episodes a week of each soap 15+ in total?, with things like Netflix, youtube and other things these days, EastEnders last year have an episode with less than 3 mill tuning in.

Seems to me like all soaps are going the way Brookside went, I don't know anyone that watches them any more?

could do, but geoffs mrs was cleaning her hands to happy birthday, suggesting filming is quite recent ( ie less than 6 weeks )

I'm pretty sure it's close to 6 weeks but it's going to look very unrealistic if the cafe/pub/Bistro are all crowded.

Thing is if they incorportate it into the programme they will have to go the whole hog, a soap talking about nothing bar a virus sounds great fun but they will probably  just continue as though it never happened.

It is about six weeks behind but they can film short scenes one day and insert them into the next broadcast.

I recall EastEnders doing this during a World Cup some years ago. You could tell it had been filmed separately due to the abrupt closure of the scene.

Was she really doing the hand washing thing?  I didn't see it last night.

i dont watch it but i read on tw@tter that coronation street and emmerdale were going to get the hand washing thing into some scenes.

During Euro 2000, 2 or 3 days after 1 England game Phil Mitchell had a brief scene with someone making reference to Shearer's winner against Germany as I remember, think it was his mate Minty coming out of the Café.

The BBC have suspended filming on shows such as Enders, Casualty, Holby...

Coronation Street haven't made a decision yet but have banned any kissing scenes.

Thank fook, only ever see the homosexuals doing it these days.

The lesbians are quite hot though     

Yes, I don't mind seeing that though I'd have it on later for the sake of young uns.

I don't watch Emmerdale, EastEnders, Casualty or Holby but Enders seems to have stopped being shown since earlier this week.
