BBC iplayer blocking NordVPN IP addresses

There are several reasons why iPlayer thinks you're outside the UK; the most common are either:

Your IP address, which is the address websites use to determine where in the world you are, not being registered in the UK
You are using a VPN (Virtual Private Network), proxy, or similar service which masks your IP address

They know, as do Bet365, I'm puzzled as to why everyone else doesn't know.

There's a choice of about 700 UK NordVPN servers, until Wednesday every one I used worked fine.

Now none I try work.

BBC must have blocked all the IP addresses, probably something to do with online reviews (since I signed up) rating NordVPN as the best for accessing iplayer abroad.

The idiots have killed the golden goose, so I shouldn't have counted my lucky chickens.
