Help please quick....

If I hover over the comment, the only thing I get is the Emoticon symbol!

Should be three horizontal dots in the top right corner of the comment block. Click on them and you'll have an option to delete

As Jomo has said, if you put your cursor on the text three dots will appear saying edit, delete and embed. Just select delete and a "dustbin" icon will appear, select that and Bob's your Uncle.

I'd love to know what he wrote!

You're obviously not on a chair, as you're doing too much hovering and not enough clicking. The dots! Click on the dots!
