What most people would take from the extreme rudeness shown there by Richard Madeley, along with his inability to get an answer. Is that he isn't up to the job of interviewing a Cabinet minister.

So Doc, Russia were saying it has nothing to do with them,we can talk and try to sort this out,and the reply from this little boy in one of the most important jobs in the UK was "go away and shut and shut up". Sorry that was beyond rude,its crass.Great to see someone treat these jumped upped pr1cks with the respect they deserve.

Richard Madeley was brilliant and stood his ground.Williamson came over as a total wet weekend.

Totally out of his depth one could say

I can only imagine what the rest of world must think hearing and seeing Williamson, bloody laughing stocks we are

Every interviewer should do the same, make these people answer straight questions.

Politicians don't answer straight questions and they never will.
What they do in face of rudeness like the above is to avoid doing interviews with uncouth presenters.

Which happened to Paxman on Newsnight.
He had to end the abuse because mainline politicians stopped going on the show.
He finished up as a very soft interviewer.

Politics is the art of deception, well intentioned or well meaning individuals have no place in politics because the system as it has stood for hundreds of years is broken.
Politicians all use the same Machiavellian practices and treat the electorate with contempt.

We are surely entering the post political age.
Its the respectable veneer on a corrupt substrate and all it does is rankles the voting public to such an extent that politicians get seen as being untrustworthy.
All politics ends in failure.

Why is Madley becoming so exercised about a British minister being rude to the Russians ?
