1967 Mustang Fastback. Dark green, like Bullitt.

Batmobile, a car so ahead of it's time it wouldn't even draw a double take today.

When growing up I was split between a Triumph Stag and a Spitfire.
As I got older the less I liked the shape of the Stag but the Spitfire remains stunning.

I've never really been into cars as such, my partner back in the day had a TR7 which was quite funky I suppose but that aside I'm not that bothered.

Never liked Porsches for some reason, preferred Ferraris? I suppose I prefer chunky to curvy. With women I prever it the other way round Wink

Is it my golfing buddy from Birmingham? I haven't seen that name on the forum for years, feared you may have joined the choir invisible, old chap.

I treated myself to an SL63 a few years ago which was 525bhp of terrifying, unbridled bliss.

Think someones was watching "Wheeler Dealers" yesterday!

As it happens I saw the first stag in ages parked, with the top down, at Morrisons.

It was totally mint, and looked far better than I remember, from driving one for a few months in '71.

I had a TR 6 at the same time...

Also, from mentioned on here, I had a Capri 3000e in '71....an E-Type in'72....a 3.00 litre Capri Ghia in'79
a Granada Ghia Saphire estate in '83 (drove all the way to france in it)

I drove a '67 Mustang Mach 1 in '72 and was looking to buy it. A young American with the name of Don Tonty, and his pal,
drove all the way from Manchester to mine at Scisset.

It was oh so special, in a very dark metallic blue...
Next day he called to say he had piled it up on the way back! Sad

Are we talking about car that MIGHT be within the realms of possibility? That would be a Mercedes S Class for me. If you mean ANYTHING then I would say a Bugatti Veyron.
