I think it is the crimes that are being committed now, and not centuries ago, that are of concern for some people.
But the history and practices of the past and its interpretation applied today has led to men thinking they can follow what is written and is still being acted upon in various countries including the uk. To hamster it as if it is hardly happening - if at all - and basically to criticise is Haram. If you don't believe me - check out the modern day forums - you would wonder if the questions and answers were of another world not and not of today?? |
