What a load of old pony! You see so many boxers who just want to hit someone and to be fair we love it but some of Ingle's boys were proper pugilist's!
Herol Graham and Prince Naseem were my two particular favourites and the finest exponent's of Ingle's style. He was a real decent geezer by all accounts. Heard a story where he was cleaning the path outside his gym and one of his boxer's spat on the pavement. He just looked at the lad who apologies to him immediately because he knew he had let Brendan down.

Just watched a hard nose ex Boxer Johnny Nelson on our News ( Calendar ) reminiscing about Brendan with tears in his eyes and rolling his cheeks - its Brendans Funeral next week . The love these Boxers had for this little Irishman was unfounded, some of them looked upon him as their real Dad.Lets hope a Statue is erected in his Honour.
