Marks and Spencer has announced that it will close 100 stores by 2022, accelerating a reorganisation that it says is "vital" for the firm's future.
M&S has revealed the locations of 14 stores that will be closed, adding to 21 that have already been shut. It is part of a revamp that was started in November 2016.
Last year, retail veteran Archie Norman took over as chairman. He said the retailer had been "drifting" and promised to speed up changes.

It is ONLY their PROFITS that are down. They ain't broke - just not making as much as they did before. If it was my business I would be quite happy making a profit of any sort.
But try and change accounts as I tried to do lately - impossibly tedious. Thought I might take up one of their offers. But thought lets see if they will accept a credit care request and see how it works coz you get points when you shop in m&s which I do often. Approved 18th april. Still waiting for a card despite several phone calls and a call from the guy in charge(supposedly) A call center in Manilla I was told ha ha!! Phone call today - being processed and will be with me by weds next week
