But having watched it 4 times now its gotten very boring
Plus I wasn't old enough to remember the glory days of Forest, my only experience with Forest is being mainly a 2nd tier club, although we did have the giddy heights of finishing 2nd once.... in league 1
Billy Davies was the last good season about 6 years ago. majorly boring being a Forest fan.

I was a big Leeds fan in the glory years 65-75, missed few home games.
Love this film. Seen it several times. Sheen in particular was superb. The other main characters were merely excellent.

Did watch it all in the end .....good ending with Bowie's Queen Bitch playing as they did a quick run through of what happened next.
I have been a Leeds fan since 6 yo so great to get an insight in what was going on then.

Remember Clough tearing into, I think it was Trevor Francis, on a TV show of the time and embarrassing him with some boorish remark. Didn't the whisky get him in the end?

Sheen is indeed a brilliant actor and was great as Clough and Frost as mentioned earlier in this thread, but his best performance, imo, was when he portrayed Kenneth Williams in the BBC production Fantabulosa.
If you haven`t seen it, it is well worth a watch.

I'll watch that. Love Kenneth Williams. I've read his diaries and seen all his clips on youtube. Fascinating man, and a rather tragic one too.
Probably the best raconteur ever, with the exception of Peter Ustinov.

I have seen the Kenneth Williams film before and although it was very well acted it's not something I'd ever care to see again, it was rather dark and depressing I thought.
