That is all you have to do to get a life long contract on the bbc, just attack anything that is not the left. I'm sure they realise this only has a limited number of fans. Like the media & Hollywood they only care for people who think the same.

Well I enjoyed it
|

Fwiw, i think half the show was spent digging out labour and anti-semitism. Pretty far from a lefty love in.

Looking at the panel: His buddy the shockingly unfunny hard left winger Corbyn fan Pascoe, Omnipresent Ryan (who IS funny and intelligent and has the sense to stay on the fence), an asian woman whose contribution was some snowflake comment about the Royal family and slavery (just googled, writes for the Guardian? "that ****ing figures"), and a gay guy. I think the allegation of "BBC Box Ticking Exercise" stands up a damn sight better than continous stream of tedious "The Royal Family are racists who hate the poor".

I missed the first 10 minutes and just caught like a minute of Badiel talking about Israel so given the events of the week my presumption as to what they'd just talked about was reasoanble :)

Oh dear the trolls have been let out. How amusing.
|

By:
Yes Porcupine I noticed they were being a big negative about Corbyn - in the sense that they left left wing piece of what dogs do wasn't being left wing enough.
|
|
By:
"they *felt* that left wing". Felt and left are both four letter words with the letters f e l t in them. That's my defence.

I just feel people getting constantly upset by tv programmes - the very essence of gammons really - a bit weird. Just don't watch it.
I find The Last Leg unfunny. Question Time and the Today programme are unbearable trash. If I want to catch the news I'll usually find it somewhere but have no specific preferences. Thing is if I don't like something I'll do something else. I can't stand soaps but I'm not going to sit through them to constantly remind myself why. Such a waste of time and energy. |
|
By:
I dont think anyone is getting upset about a program, its more of an observation or an opinion.

Whats all this gammon nonsense?

I like to think I've got a healthy sense of humour and I'm fairly unshockable but I just don't find Frankie Boyle in the slightest bit amusing nor entertaining. I wouldn't go and see him live if it were free to get in and a complimentary bar all night

I like Boyle but can see why some people wouldnt like this show - very right-on, I'm a leftie but think it goes too far
|
|
By:
FB was very good in his early days, very controversial etc and blunt. I liked him.
Now he has adapted to the bbc contract, which is a shame. Would love to ask him about his change. Now he is rotten. |
|
By:
To be fair it's balanced. The leftie remoners have the likes of this crap, the Daily Mash, the Last Leg, Mock the Week, 8 out of 10 lefties, HIGNFY these days, etc, all getting stuck into leave voters and anyone who isn't left of centre, and the majority of the country, the leavers, and the tory voters who voted for the government have these fantastic pro Brexit shows and comedians, slagging off remoaners and Corbyn:
*tumbleweed* There was one right wing comedian who used to regularly appear on the BBC, then the snowflakes launched a social media campaign to get him banned and he's not been on the BBC since, so it's back to a homogenous "100% leftie/remoaner" playing field. Rejoice, leave voting license fee payers, the majority of the country, rejoice, this is fairness! |
|
By:
leave licence fee payers are the minority
|
|
By:
How can anyone possibly know how every licence payer voted
![]() |
|
By:
Indeed IS. It's the sort of stupid statement I'm afraid we've come expect from the left though. I obviously don't have the figures in front of me but unlike the left, I'm quite astoundingly smart!
![]() So what do we know? 1. They keep saying older voters were far more likely to vote leave than the young. The remoaners loudly saying this very loudly. 2. They also say that TV is now a "dying" medium predominantly watched by older folk as younger people have ditched it for social media/youtube/the internet/taking selfies until they get RSI. The only LOGICAL conclusion to draw is that in reality leave voters are the bulk of TV watchers, and therefore assuming a correlation between those who watch TV and those paying for licenses (and lets face it no student has ever bought a tv license, EVER), then leave voters are in fact paying to be insulted and have their views disenfranchised... |
