A teenage girl plotted a gun and grenade attack at the British Museum after her attempts to become a jihadi bride were thwarted, a court has heard.

Safaa Boular was 17 when she allegedly decided to be a "martyr" after her Islamic State fighter fiancé was killed in Syria, the Old Bailey heard.

Ms Boular, now 18, denies two counts of preparing acts of terrorism.

Her sister Rizlaine Boular, 21, has admitted planning an attack with knives in Westminster.

How is that remotely related to feminism exactly?

I didn't say it was. I posed a question.

Normally it's men who are terrorists. In this case women have felt inclined to have a go. A sign of liberation into male dominated territory?

Feminism does have a problem, tho.

They need to explain (nobody has yet) why they're so quick to defend Islam and so very very quiet and turn a collective blind eye to all its institutionalised misogyny and violence against women and young girls.

I think there's a genuine confusion between the accusation of defending islam and defending people's choice to follow what ever made up guy they choose.

Women are frequently treated poorly and often because of one dogma or another but as long as a person treats me and others with respect then I don't care if he prays to the teletubbies baby sun.

juts read the story now, I see she was groomed. Yet another thing the Islamists are very fond of. And reminds me of another topic the feminists are strangely silent over (Rotherham, Telford, etc)
