So it was the Greeks that give us these words and at the beginning these words were named after planets,but then someone changed the names and called them after different Gods,and since the day i was born(on a Monday by the way) i have heard these names every fecken day.I am sick and tired of hearing these days (greek words).its now the year 2018 and i think these names should be changed.because they have taken over everyone's life,in fact the first thought i have in the morning when i waken up is to ask myself what day is it and i havent even got a choice.
and if you look at these 7 words they control everyone,just read the thread title and each word tells you that you have to change your mood to fit in with the day it is.
i suggest that everyone who reads this thread should ask another person to support a change of the names of days world wide.
and i bet none of you ever heard of the gods that they are named after.
we could have much better names like fun day,party day,help a friend day and so on.and as far as i am concerned they can do away with Thursday altogether because no one ever does anything on a Thursday.
i am off to bed now because it is nearly Sunday the roast beef peas day.it time the world grew up and give us good names for our day IMVHO.

so here is my suggestion for names and you can add to the list if you like.
FUNDAY,PARTYDAY,HELP A FRIEND DAY,LAUGHING DAY,FAMILY DAY,SPORTSDAY,ENJOY LIKE DAY.
Any of these names are better than Thursday.So next Thursday pick one of my selections and notice your change of mood.

All my days are like the last 5 now for a while all my days were the first 2 maybe workday could be included 
oh yes you still go to work,but next Monday when you wake up you will say to yourself" oh it FUNDAY"

Our names for the days of the week have Germanic and Nordic origins and aren't too different from what our Anglo-Saxon forebears called them. They have nothing to do with the Greek language.
On a side note, in Portuguese the names for Monday - Friday translate as second-day, third-day, fourth-day etc.
