Will probably be too easy for most but it'sa revalation for me, as being very deaf I haven't a clue without searching for the lyrics!
What I have to say, is that the majority of them make zero sense!

Four on the floor is a drumming rhythm often used in disco/dance where the bass drum is hit ever beat, so rather than bass/snare/bass/snare it goes bass/bass+snare/bass/bass+snare, sounds more "dancy".
Anyway: 8. Hand-me-downs is maybe handbags and glad rags maybe? 17. How many holes .. in blackburn lancashire? Beatles? |

remember4 hearing that line "tell me something true" in a song and liking that line in the song, it was that line. vaguely remember liking the song but can only remember that one line but that's all :)
