Lump on a testicle.

anyone who finds one should see their GP ASAP

So where's " a testicle " running?
Why should we be lumping on it?
And what's it trading at please?

Go to your quak..... He'll make an appointment at your hospital, they'll do a scan.

Probably gristle... Hope its nothing more serious

Cheers guys. Found it Wednesday night. Checked myself after watching the real Full Minty.Doctors yesterday, now awaiting an ultra sound scan within the next few weeks.

Sounds very precautionary.  If the GP suspected a tumour you'd get an ultrasound within a few days (quite possibly a few hours) rather than a few weeks.

I had one a couple of years back, scared the life out of me. GP said very unlikely to be cancer. I had an ultra sound scan a week or 2 later. The scan lasted less than a minute and was told I was fine - he said the GP should reassure you that it isn't anything serious. Then the lump vanished.
Hope it all goes well.

Must have it checked. If it is well rounded like a marble and you can move it, likely to be a cyst which are not uncommon and are harmless. But you must get it checked in case! Good luck.

Found a lump in March 16 well not so much a lump more a hardness & enlargement  of the testicle, Dr sent me for a scan within two weeks it was removed &  it was found to be cancerous, problem is they tell you the likelyhood is its cancerous, they don't ever know 100% unless its out & tested

You OK Pump was it contained Just to that area ?

All seemed ok but on yearly scan last March they found I had a tumour on my adrenal gland, hence 16 month  after my op I was having chemo, already been  diagnosed with bone marrow cancer in 2014 so been an eventful few years, chemo shrunk tumour by Nov to just a trace, however another scan in May will show if its returned.

found a lump about three years ago. Went to the doctors (absolutely bricking it),turned out it was a cyst (which apparently are more common than people realise).

Yes indeed, we went to Mexico for 3 weeks and had an absolute ball, well remembered. Shame she turned out to be a money grabbing heinous bitch! GOT my Kelpie had a cancerous tumour removed from his testicles when he was 11yo and went on to live until he was 18 which is an extraordinary age for any dog. You'll be right.

Update.Scan was on Thursday.Took less than 5 minutes. Nothing to worry about.Thanks for all your words of support.
