We didn't even participate in the Iraq war because we were all like "NO!"

not sure what santer is on about, very few European countries still existcertainly not Germany France or Britain
Germany is plenty European still.
Christian party ruling, Lederhosen, beer, schnaps, more beer, jägermeister, football the most popular sport, Skat, cricket not popular at all, rocking anti-semitism, garden gnomes, Kartoffelklöße, Kohlrouladen, Easter bunny, Tannenbaum, punctuality, allotment gardens with well kept lawn and garden neighbours that fight over the silliest of things, Eisbein, Hosenträger, Kegeln, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz...
I guess all those countries you mentioned have developed something very un-european though - an attitude on war that ranges from tiredness to rejection compared to the ur-Europeanlust for war.
