I remember hearing a fact that there are more white easters than white christmases

The way things have been that Looks Big

I cant remember a white easter . When was the last one?

cant find any records -  but Southern England , Easter normally would see temperatures in the day somewhere around 12- 13c  with lows around 4c   (8c)
December  8c  down to 3c  ( 5.5C)   

Easter slightly drier too  than Xmas  -    Snow unusual at either time though really

therefore a much greater chance of snow at Easter as it's a longer period of time  - Xmas is only the one day

Airport which, you've guessed it, is one of those areas.

That's right cman - I flew out from Manchester 3 weeks ago after having my plane cancelled in leeds - when I got to Manchester the same day there was hardly any snow and when I got to the airport there was no snow
