I cant remember a white easter . When was the last one?
|
|
By:
cant find any records - but Southern England , Easter normally would see temperatures in the day somewhere around 12- 13c with lows around 4c (8c)
December 8c down to 3c ( 5.5C) Easter slightly drier too than Xmas - Snow unusual at either time though really |

By:
therefore a much greater chance of snow at Easter as it's a longer period of time - Xmas is only the one day

So what days are in the Bet ?

Where does it Need to Snow ,Snow to fall over the 4 days is a Certainty looking at the WF
|
|
By:
normally you bet on a chosen location - London,Glasgow,Manchester etc all with different odds

Coach correct, with 'novelty' bets you have to be very careful. For instance Manchester has a peculiar topography which makes certain areas usually miss the snowfall so find out from the bookie which area they are quoting. Think billy's are using Mcr. Airport which, you've guessed it, is one of those areas.

That's right cman - I flew out from Manchester 3 weeks ago after having my plane cancelled in leeds - when I got to Manchester the same day there was hardly any snow and when I got to the airport there was no snow
