Some Paki friends of mine are trying to rent in Scotland . They are always refused . He has even offered to pay 6 months in advance and still gets refused . As Pakis go the family is respectable . So there may be racism in the Highlands .

A Scot comes from Scotland, so a Paki comes from Pakistan.  What's difficult about that?

A few years back, a Kiwi colleague of mine had been to the cricket and seen Pakistan play and he kept on refering to the Pakis....it was just a shortening of pakistanis....like Aussies, Kiwis, Saffer, Brits, Scots whatever....I dont understand why anyone can take offence!

No WD got dual nationality. Was born in Ohio, my mum was English got divorced and bought me to England in the 1960's.
