Make no mistake - a speck of this stuff is deadly - Does anyone think that the persons doing it actually didn't have much idea of the damage it could do outside of the actual target?? It all sounds rather messy doesn't it.
By:
The Russkies did it. The isotope of Phosphorus has been identified. But don't tell anyone because the public is not supposed to know!
By:
COUPLE seen near the victims they don't know who they are - but they DO KNOW they left the country on the day. How do they know that if they don't know who they are. Do you get it??? hmmmmmm.
Was it a botched job and are the people who did carry out this horrendous attack contaminated as well? |
By:
How come only 1 copper has been "affected"?
Was he the only person in the whole of Salisbury that came into contact with them ? |
By:
One report was that novichok-5 was used on kim wrong un's brother. Is this the case coz I thought it was a different agent but there was an expert analysis on it and novo was the stuff??!! If so, how did they get hold of it. Surely there would be huge contamination?
Or is it false info? |

half brother

would the only way to get this into the country be through diplomatic baggage or doesn't that go on anymore,if not 2 ruskies connected to the kremlin are hardly going to walk through customs with it in case their rumbled, forgeting the blame game are there still supplys of this stuff in the country no mention by the media of this

Even Macron agrees with us on this, how much more proof do you need?
By:
^^ yes that is very worrying ho ho

The evidence against russia is overwhelming
it is odd isn't, in other matters THERE IS OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE in various cities and little or nothing was done about it - in one it was over 40 years oh the irony |

Why are you right wingers desperate to back pootin? He is a murdering psychopathic kleptocrat who has looted his country to benefit himself and his cronies.

By:
Dave, I am reliably informed he doesn't think much of you either!

Dave misses the good old days when the british navy was shelling the newly formed Soviet republic.!!

I've no idea who did it and why.
Some questions though: Why would Putin do this just prior to hosting the biggest tourny in the world? How come it's so close to Porton Down - coincidence? Why not stab the bloke? Why attack him in a public place with CCTV? In response to this event, PD has just been given £48m. That's pretty knee jerk and timely isn't it?? My fears are that the Govt is using this to make May look strong. They knew Corbyn would ask questions and be discredited (making him look weak). It's so easy to blame everything on Putin. Apparently he made millions of Yanks vote for Trump... I think Corbyn is correct to question May and not to blindly back her. Is the hospital under intense security? There's so much more to this than meets the eye. I've no idea what's happenening but I wouldn't trust the Govt to be telling the truth. |

Yes good post injera

* Novichok, the fourth generation of poison gas, was made with agrochemicals so that offensive weapons production could more readily be hidden within a legitimate commercial industry, according to U.S. chemical weapons expert Amy Smithson.
* Publications about development and testing of Novichok in the 1990s led to U.S. suspicions that the then USSR had a secret weapons program and did not declare all it had in its stockpile when it joined the OPCW. |
By:
The interesting bit MADE WITH AGROCHEMICALS !! spooky eh???
By:
donny's post on the other thread makes a valid point. Did Putin do this to send shivers down the spines of some nawty Russians over here?
It would explain the use of a nerve agent and not a knife. |
By:
As they sayed on BBC news ,it's all very unnerving
![]() |
By:
Didn't they invade Afghanastan prior to the 1980 Olympics
Why would it matter where in England he lived, I am sure if the nerve agent can travel from Moscow to England it could travel from porton down to anywhere in England, even London They might have seen someone stabbing him I suppose Why would they give 48m to PD now if it might seem suspicious. Now that's not very clever is it How does it make May look strong, a british agent has just been murdered Corbyn ? well he was the one who asked the question, no one else |
By:
*sorry attempted murder

By:
defense sectary "tells Russia to go away and shut up". Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh look at you
![]() ![]() Nothing like playing fun russian roulette with all of our livelihoods and lives eh. it wont effect them, it'll only effect the average man, woman and child, that's what p***** me off |
By:
very well said
By:
the defence secretary of course , I don't know what sontar is whining about
By:
Glad to see some of the better informed posters have challenged this (I would've but don't know enough)
Plenty of unanswered questions, rash decisions and ridiculously aggressive statements from our government as it stands I believe we haven't even followed the International protocols for such an occurrence. |
By:
international protocols ? why has it happened before
By:
Britain is I think sending a sample of the nerve agent to the OPCW , the UN
Now I suppose they might send an sample to Putin, what do you think he will say, I suppose we might believe him, anythings possible |
By:
Gavin Williamson was reported as telling them to shut up and go away. quite pathetic really, we have after all accused them of something serious and of course they are going to want answers and proof. what if someone accused you of something serious and they just told you to shut up and go away? like your having no answers you can just accept you did it and that's that.
By:
As far as I know the Russian agents are living safely and comfortably and without fear so in Moscow or somewhere in Russia while ours`are being murdered, that doesn't seem fair to me and warrants at least a few harsh words
I don't think a few harsh words from our defence secretary are too much for the Russians to bear |
By:
And it now seems Trump is firmly on board with this
what the hell is going on ![]() I mean we've had months of none stop russia/trump propaganda. it gets more baffling by the day. |
By:
You know, the agents that we exchanged for ours, how are they doing?
I don't know |
By:
You see if our agents have to live in fear in England I hope that their agents have to live in fear in Russia, they deserve it
By:
After all this is England, so our agents were on the side of freedom and good, and and that is Russia and their agents were on the side of dictatorship and evil
By:
So I am glad our defence minister told the Russians to shut up
By:
ok its a little rude, but Russia should not presume on the good nature of the British
