You have obviously been selected to help a Prince get his money out of the country for a massive commission. Just send them your bank details to facilitate it and then go and live with the fairies at the bottom of the garden!

These scam calls don't usually originate anywhere near the places attached to the numbers you see on your phone.
That said, they might be from Mali or Senegal. Most 3rd world countries don't have the facilities or people to stop scammers.

They just put any old made up number in their set-up. The calls might be from this country or more likely India.
It's called "Spoofing". Quite often they'll use a code that is near to the location of their intended victims, for better results.

I believe its called the Wangiri scam.Phone rings once and you miss the call, anyone gullible enough to call back is rerouted through a premium rate number.
