Darts might be straighter than it used to be but massive opportunities to bet is offset against the increased prize money in the PDC.

The word was initially when the draw came out the bet would be Robson 3-1 until they saw the betting in which Robson was around 4/9 so they changed their minds and filled in Anderson at odds against.
In Northumberland the rumours were rife and Anderson 3-1 was pretty much all that was bet.
What's funny about this is that Anderson's manager placed many cash bets HIMSELF and collected them HIMSELF which is ridiculous but TRUE.
At the time I had a few close ties in the betting community and played with people at darts who knew them both and everything I got told was spot on,very public but they got away with it.
Probably wouldn't happen now I'm guessing?
