It didn't happen in Britain ! Absolute zero chance he would have been 'standing in the dock ' for shooting a gunman . Anyway , there is no issue of the officer shooting first . The gunfire was the first he knew about it. And then he is witnessed outside the building while it continues inside for 5 minutes , hiding behind a pillar.
