My best mate abby abbot (as us friends call her) is going to open the gates - rejoice!!!!!!!!!!!
Report Slicer February 22, 2018 11:23 AM GMT
Don't be impatient. Jezza is sure to be the next elected PM and his cohort, Fatbot, will ensure that not only will you not be able to move on the M25 between 8.00 and 20.00 hours daily, as is the case now, but it will be from 8.00 to 8.00 next day on a daily basis due to numbers. The A & Es at the hospitals will no longer have patients on trollies in the corridors, but will have surgeons operating on patients on trollies in the car parks. There will be so much cultural enrichment that the indigenous white Christian population will choke to death on it!!

doesnt need to open the gates

they are wedged open by the tories

Presumably these people dont believe the Remainers claim that Brexit UK is facing an Economic armagadden.
Report donny osmond February 22, 2018 12:15 PM GMT
ah no, its 205,000 from outside eu

and 51,000 net migration by brits away from uk
Report donny osmond February 22, 2018 12:18 PM GMT
Labour's shadow home secretary Diane Abbott said net migration was still double the government's target and accused the Home Office of turning away qualified doctors despite a recruitment shortage in the NHS.
"This deficit hurts us all and highlights the immigration mess the government has created," she said.

2.44 times diane, not just double, but maths eh, dont mention it

Maybe it won't be as you predict, maybe they'll restart some road building, reopen some railways, reopen some of the closed hospitals or put some A&E's in some of those which don't have any. Who knows? It certainly isn't happening now, so my blame would lie with current and recent government policy.

The thing is, we have this situation and it's been getting worse for the last 40 years, yet the very common response is that "Corbyn would be worse", instead of "They've really messed it up, the barstewards".

It is bad, it has NOT got better, why keep blaming those who haven't made it like this?

Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 1:29 PM GMT
Corbyn is to blame , and so are you if you vote for him
Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 1:40 PM GMT
Labour party want to increase immigration, more votes, Tory party want to increase immigration, cheap labour
That's the situation we have
However at least by leaving the EU free movement stops, well in theory
Lets see
So it is nonsense for anyone to complain about tory immigration, or Labour immigration if they voted to stay in the EU
Report Slicer February 22, 2018 1:52 PM GMT
Study-no one should vote for a man who laid a wreath at the grave of murderer of the Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics. Add that to Marxist Mac- the next Chancer of the Exchequer, and Fatbot Home Secretary- a very nasty hat trick of politicians!
Report GAZO February 22, 2018 1:57 PM GMT
Shows how crap the current government is when there is a good chance he will get in
Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 1:58 PM GMT
The non EU figures have a large percentage of immigration for study
so this should not be included in immigration figures
Of those who come to study almost three quarters are non EU,
So the important thing remains to get out of the EU
Report Slicer February 22, 2018 2:01 PM GMT
There is NO good chance he will get in. It is CERTAIN he will get in at the next election barring any new spy or other unfavourable developments. I sometimes listen to LBC when in the UK. I cannot believe what I hear. Very sad reflection on Mayhem May and her divided cohorts. I would not be voting FOR the Tories- I would be voting AGAINST Jezza!
Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 2:03 PM GMT
Separate the issue of people coming to Britain to study, they bring money in and, in theory, don't stay

People coming to live and work however cost the country billions
Report unitedbiscuits February 22, 2018 2:14 PM GMT
Every chance net-EU migration will be below zero before Brexit. Economic factors -our money is worth less, and growth is the slowest in EU- and a quite successful message to them that they are unwelcome here.
Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 2:18 PM GMT
good news if eu migration is zero
Report unitedbiscuits February 22, 2018 2:21 PM GMT
Agreed, lfc, then there would be little motivation for Brexit.
Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 2:31 PM GMT
cannot be done without brexit, free movement
Report unitedbiscuits February 22, 2018 2:37 PM GMT
But if more were leaving than arriving, that wouldn't shake your belief in Brexit?
Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 2:39 PM GMT
biscuits, more people will never leave Britain than want to come to Britain,
never
Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 2:41 PM GMT
It would be lovely if that wasn't the case and at least 40 million left tomorrow
Report unitedbiscuits February 22, 2018 2:41 PM GMT
More EU citizens will. It may be happening already. Figures in the news only go up to last September but there is a clear trend that is probably gathering still momentum.
Report saddo February 22, 2018 2:45 PM GMT
Too many people here, if some are leaving that is good. Less people is good.
Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 2:45 PM GMT
good, very good news. I wont say good riddance that would be rude
Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 2:50 PM GMT
Its nice sometimes when people leave, they can be too much trouble
Report saddo February 22, 2018 3:18 PM GMT
All the health and education people and the police will tell you they are overstretched. Less people, less stretch.
Report donny osmond February 22, 2018 3:21 PM GMT

just the brits leaving

250,000 more foreigners into uk

only 90,000 from uk

the others we already have control of

not surprised the brits are leaving, who could blame them
Report unitedbiscuits February 22, 2018 3:45 PM GMT
I say, lfc1971, you're not a landlord renting out property to foreign students, by any chance, are you?
Report saddo February 22, 2018 3:50 PM GMT
I only heard the radio news donny. They said less EU coming and more leaving, never mentioned UK citizens leaving.
Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 3:53 PM GMT
no I,m not a landlord
Report donny osmond February 22, 2018 3:54 PM GMT
yeah less eu coming, thats correct

EU migration is the central plank in the raft of grievances floated by Leavers. Take that away..no Brexit, ideally.
Report donny osmond February 22, 2018 4:00 PM GMT
well theres still an extra 90 k from eu

but some of these eu countries must be nearly empty by now

ub, they would not be leaving without brexit, and if it doesn't happen they will flood back in again. Stability is required.

the very same thing happened at the fall off the Roman Empire
more and more people came to Rome, until eventually they took over power
and that was the end of that
Report unitedbiscuits February 22, 2018 4:08 PM GMT
Probably behind the curve, those figures, Donny. (Sep '16-Sep'17). The outgoing German Ambassador reckoned the UK/EU may already be nearing parity in migrant flow, for good reasons.
Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 4:09 PM GMT
people don't realise what caused the fall of the roman empire, that's what caused it
Report unitedbiscuits February 22, 2018 4:10 PM GMT
Certainly the Brexit vote cratering the value of Sterling is a factor, Saddo. And the UK now has the poorest growth in the EU.
Report lfc1971 February 22, 2018 4:10 PM GMT
to make it plain, more foreigners came to Rome, until it came to a point that the romans were no longer in charge
that was a disaster

This is all good as long as we have less people. Quality of life has got worse since we had too many.

Germany might rush through citizenship for its 1 million migrants in the hope many will fancy
life in the UK.
