frankly - I am shocked - and seems to know the detail - and made us understand what he was saying - the woman on the end only had 'words' or soundbites. No detail - see the difference - the lab guy provided detail.

The Leopard I don’t support Tommy Robinson if that is what akabula is saying I can’t see as I still have him blocked
Briiliant, the thinking of a child. How can I reply and make them believe he's blocked.

apart from the labour bloke have any of the panellists said anything of meaning or instruction? Some of the audience appear to have more about them.
cancel that - just listening to the woman on accusers of rape - even if they are false she says they should stay anonymous
gives free rein to the accusers - amazing scenes

I mean it's simple isn't it? There are cases where they aren't sure either way but in cases where it's proven that the case WAS malicious and false, they should definitely be named!

The thing about these cases is - what if the evidence of proof of innocence wasn't on these phones? Or was 10 years ago when such phone evidence wasn't likely to exist?
How many are currently in prison who are innocent? There certainly will be. It's horrifying to think about.

BTW I don't think it got much publicity but remember that guy who had s-x with a Tinder hookup then later the woman complained he'd touched her breast too hard (but then continued!) and he was convicted of s*xual assault? Finally sense prevailed and the conviction was quashed, but he's been through hell, and no doubt had his career damaged.

there was a guy released from prison only the other day - he had done years hadn't he? my memory is not up to it but I know he was found guilty and locked up when he hadn't done it all based on false accusations

All this about "being told or persuaded to buy a diesel car". Were car buyers so easily influenced? I bought a German diesel car because it would be more economical, more reliable and better built than, for instance, a French petrol car. I don't regret buying it for one minute. it's the best car I've ever had. I certainly wasn't encouraged by Government to buy it.

You might be right, but I don't remember being encouraged to buy diesel. Not sure about Tax Breaks, my choice was based mainly on the knowledge that a diesel engine would last a lot longer than a petrol one, and would require less maintenance.

Yes they did Des, under Blair/Brown "In 2001, Gordon Brown – then Chancellor – introduced lower vehicle tax for diesel cars on the basis they were less polluting and would bring down overall carbon dioxide levels."

Just seen that Robinson bloke on Newsnight. I assume they dragged him in to be humiliated by a clever presenter, I thought he stood his ground well and kept hitting back at the lack of balance from the BBC.

All of Newsnight was a disgrace last night, agree Tommy Robinson destroyed Kirstie last night. There was then a story regarding a school banning girls of 8years old and younger from wearing a Hijab. Anyone note the symbols in the background. Jewish symbol first then the Muslim symbol and in third and last place was the Christian cross. While I'm an atheist last time I heard this was a Christian country ! And finally there was a woman speaking against women parading at boxing matches saying it was wrong and saying she was right versus the young girl who said she was happy and had a right to show her body off at such events. This is the main problem today, people being offended on other peoples behalf ! The irony was the woman against was a Formula one commentator, she was a very good looking woman and I feel probably help her get that particular gig. Racing after all is a sexy sport and she would of frittered in with that image.
