You do realise don't you, in 20 years time there will be TV shows showing how backwards and stupid we all are now, as a pacified and thought policed populace sits in their legally mandated safe space taking medication to control their permanent offence at everything that happens around them that they don't 100% agree with.
Tweeting offence will be seens as too time consuming, so TV remote controls and digital radios will have an "I'm offended" button and if enough people press it the show will be taken off the air immediately, and replaced by a documentary about Transgender rights issues in Chile or a moving portrayal of Jeremy Corbyn's life to music sung in non English by a choir of ethnically and transgender mixed children.

I'm looking forward to when we will all have a chip implanted in our brains to monitor and control our moods and thoughts. TV and cinemas will be obsolete as entertainment will be streamed into our brains giving the illusion of a virtual reality where we can be either participants in or bystanders to the action.

Foinavon, that sort of future might unfortunately happen. Not in our lifetimes perhaps but in say 100/200/500 years?

Your original title is surreal, I like it. It won't be alright until history is rewritten sometime in the future when it will be seen to have been alright. Well, that interpretation is different to what you intended but history is regularly rewritten. I'm confusing myself now so I'd better stop here.
Will they still have talking heads who you have never heard of, doing their faux jaw dropping/wow routine, or who were famous for 5 minutes In the era being discussed?
