I've been going to a town called Igls ( Patscherkofel mountain ) a few times over the last couple of years.
A big pro is the short travel time: cheap £22 EasyJet 1h20 flight to Innsbruck and a 20 minute cab ride from airport, you can literally be on the piste a little over 2 hours from Gatwick.
But now I'm getting a little bored of the 2 restaurant town, and the new cable car they built appears to be overly prone to wind and is shut down often (Its only 6 weeks old and already the locals are calling it the standing car because it is shutdown so often, the old one was much more resilient in much higher wind speed)
Been to Andora once, nice, but a long travel time ( 1h flight + 5 hours coach from nearest airport, plus waiting etc)
Anyone got suggestions for good short break skiing resorts?
