350 cameras might knock a hole in charity money

it turned over 600k a few years back and showed a profit of about 10k for charity

the running costs may need some scrutiny,

Agree with that, I thought the total paid over the years seemed remarkably low.

Imagine being that unsure about how to behave yourself with a woman. I wonder what the parents of some people taught their kids frankly.

Sadly PP alot of parents tell them absolutely nothing which leads to problems. A lot see abuse in the home which leads to problems.

to be consistent I,m wondering why there isn't outrage and calls for  our woman PM ,holding hands, shaking hands, making, inviting him to our country to make cosy deals with a known sexist racist, mysoginist, when theres call for mp,s to resign for been in the same room as men who may or may not have acted in a sexist manner

Most young men I know are very respectful towards women, far more so than when I was young. Evolution is working, trying to change everyone's behaviour overnight will not.

LOL,YOUNG PEOPLES PHONES SOCIAL MEDIA accounts, are brimming with explicit sex scenes, sex tests most of which they havnt got permission of their partners, friends to either take or use, I,d say 90% of young people of both sexes would not want to show their parents some of the images on their social mediua, phones etc, but they have no problem csalling older men cavemen, dinosaurs etc

Exactly. Huge part of a parent's job is preparing your kid for adulthood. The idea of teaching that rape and abuse is bad is obviously a given but I can imagine the kids of some posters on here being confused by the message that they need to be very careful when interacting with the opposite sex. Stay on the opposite side of the road, just in case etc. How the hell are these kids going to function with that kind of upbringing? How difficult is it really to simply teach your kids to be respectful and well mannered.

Shining a light on bad behaviour is simply part of the same process. A major part of punishment for a crime is for it to act as a deterrent to others who may have been thinking to copy it. There'll always be blerts but let's not make excuses for them.

In what way is our generation, or the younger generation more respectful to woman than the previous generation or our grandparents generation or even generations before that ?

Is the thought that this event showed bad/unacceptable behavior or illegal behavior?

For instance saying your wife could look like this if you buy plastic surgery. Is this unacceptable?

I think many women here were repressed when I was young, rather like Islamic women still are. We have changed for the better imo.

A generation or two ago many young men were taught things like to help women out of cars, walk on a certain side of the pavement with them etc.
Now we've teensage boys demanding girls send them pictures of their intimates on their mobiles or they're bully them that they're prudes and uncool, and young men demanding wierd s*x they've seen on the internet.
I think the snowflake media when they say the younger generation are so much better than those before, are confusing their own total dominance of the media with the reality on the ground.

This whole thing stinks of latest witch hunt, the whole "some are bad so they are all bad and we don't need facts or a trial, let's lynch them" attitude.
And intelligent women are seeing this and pointing this out as well. We are now lurching from moral panic to moral panic.

JC,
It is not just young men demanding things they have seen online. Latest surveys suggest women watch almost as much as men and are more likely to search for things you might call 'weird'.
The days of women just being told it is only for men to enjoy are long since over.

Corbyn has sacked Lord Mendelsohn from Labour front bench for attending the event on behalf of a children's charity.

He did not see anything that went on and left early.

I note just checking mentioning  'moral panic'

Anyone remember the mods and rockers and the guy getting knifed in brighton

where did that go  ?

It was another 'moral panic'  - wonder what the next one will be

but there never seems to be one over the rochdale incidents and there have been so many of them

I see Great Ormand street hospital to hand back money raised, it must give the parents of a young kiddie waiting for a life changing operation so much pride ? While their at it why not hand the government back the proportion of tax that was collected from weapons manufacturers who sold weapons to the Saudis that where used to blow up Yemeny kids...............where do you draw the line ? As I'm sure it's been mentioned here it's a shame the same morale outrage wasn't exacted regarding the young girls of Rochdale who where subjected to far worse than a slap on the bum. Thought I'd waste half an hour of my life and watched the Mash report, good old Nish Kumar's take was about a club where only men where allowed and how sad it was, now I'm an atheist but my late wife was religious so occasionally I would attend church with her especially at the time of my kids communions. As far as my memory serves men AND women prayed side by side............over to you Nish and while I'm having a rant about said Mr Kumar it appeared to be missed by the outraged public regarding him calling Piers Morgan a White privileged person covered in gammon ! Now he's mentioned the race and given certain sectors in our societies view on pork I'm surprised no one found it offensive! Now if he had just said PM was a total pr1ck I wouldn't of had any issue with that stand point

Holy sh!t Dan.

Your attempt at defending it amounts to "what about Rochdale" and having a pop at Islam.

Typical deflection PP.
I simply ask why this event has you all hot and bothered.
Yet you fail to condemn other, and much worse serious, events.
in fact some may say even condone by your silence.

All this faux outrage about a puny event where things like hand holding (shock horror) happened. Just shows there's a bigger agenda at play here. It ties in with all that #metoo stuff as well. So what's really going on?
