Must be nearly three years ago as, unfortunately, it got to the point where I wasn't safe on my road bike.

Now I have to tolerate just burning energy on my spin bike.

Last Sunday , would have gone out today but far too much ice on the roads to be safe......and that's without cars.

Ride 2 or 3 times a week @ this time of year and 5 times a week in spring /summer/autumn. Achieved a long held ambition this summer of cycling from Lands End to John O Groats.Fabulous experience, appreciating what a wonderfull diverse landscape Britain has.

Met this girl in 1974 whilst riding mine. Tracey, she'd had some disappointing experience the year before apparently but was still up for an outing on my tandem.

Carried 24 tins of discounted Tesco dog food home up Bishops Hull Hill yesterday morning.

I'd like to tell that Bradley Wiggins, watching him pulling faces, huffing and puffing up Mont Ventoux - this is what proper cycling is, son, and don't you forget it.

Try to get out 2-3 times a week but no more than 40 miles at a time now. But weather has meant it's been the turbo for the last week.
