His whole point was to grab the horse imo,which meant the horse would rair  up and cause its rider to lose balance, sadly she only had a whip in her hand to defend herself from this lunatic, luckily for him she'd obviously left her rolling pin at home otherwise he would have really felt pain...

What no one has mentioned is that this lady is engaged in an entirely legal activity. "Hunting" in its emasculated form is legal. This chap may disapprove for whatever reason but that is absolutely no excuse for interfering with horse and rider.
