vote was 52-48%, In the UK I'd like to live we'd call that pretty much a draw and behave a bit more British about it.

or perhaps you're not a remainer . When remainers start that sort of nonsense something within me starts to laugh and jeer.

maybe I shouldn't do that .

Beer talking Tongue Out

No need to actually leave

Could've just recinded/grandfathered all the EU laws as per we are doing now and then killed off what doesn't suit us.

No need to leave, let them kick us out if they don't like it, then it's their mess.

England will go into meltdown if they exit.millions upon millions are pumped into Scotland northern ireland and to a less degree Wales by the EU and the english people will have to foot the bills for all.And Ireland will meltdown also. But they never tell you that.
Best answer is to vote on Brexit again and tell everyone the truth this time .its the only answer.

Brassneck, whilst in theory you are correct, the ignorance and stubbornness of the British people is what you are forgetting. The little Englanders are desperate for their 'freedom' and any amount of logic will not interest them. However much truth you throw at them we'd still vote to leave again. We appoint a government and MP's to make the important decisions because the public isn't knowledgable enough to do so. Sadly Cameron was too arrogant by calling a referendum to appease UKIP and his own party division and the most important decision in our recent history was left to the people.
Report lfc1971 November 17, 2017 9:15 AM GMT
well if it's ok for Scots nationalists to talk about freedom , and Irish republicans to talk about freedom then it's ok for little englanders to talk about freedom also .
What's wrong with that ?

The tears and the hopeless sighs of people like asparagus , who pretend to care so much about Britain,
sound to me like music .
Because I don't believe them.

I am confused. Please tell me the advantages of leaving.
Report lfc1971 November 17, 2017 9:28 AM GMT
Leaving is just the first step, if we don't leave we can't change.
Of course it is possible , even likely , that we will leave and still not change.

That will be our own fault .
Report Foinavon November 17, 2017 11:18 AM GMT
Brassneck, you are wrong. What happens is this;
We hand over a sizeable wedge to the EU. They carve off a huge chunk for themselves and hand back what's left to the regions masquerading as EU generosity and people fall for the propaganda message.
