Back in the late 70s/early 80s the liberal left were all over Mugabe, almost had him at Mandela status. It took them a few years as well to realise what they had supported. Is there any nation in this continent that has shown it is a democratic success?

Parliament’s speaker Jacob Mudenda said the 93-year-old resigned by letter on Tuesday, ending his 37 years in office, having been in power since independence in 1980. Stubborn coont took some shifting but finally got the message,. |

It was just a case of who gets the money - dividing it up
You do realise it is just the case of swapping one for another. Shouldn't make much difference for most of the population. Most of the profitable farms and the people who run them have been forced out. |

Just watching the news, it makes me laugh. Their going on about the Zimbabwe people have found their voice. NO the Army decided enough was enough ! I don't think the replacement will be much better ! Give it a year.
