More than 300,000 people equivalent to a city the size of Newcastle are now sleeping rough in Britain after the number of people losing their home soared last year. The study by Shelter found out 307,000 or one in every 200 people are now homeless
I would have been on the street if i hadnt have had a car to sleep in and in the 6 months it took to get enough money to get a roof over me, had the car developed a fault my only plan was to torch the car and punch tbe nearest copper..ensuring a roof over my head for the winter

Staggering amount of homeless and beggars in Peterborough town center today, similar story in Milton Keynes recently, whilst I do have sympathy as no one asks to be in that situation, the constant harassment did become annoying, there were actually rozzers about but didn't seem bothered.

If you think it's bad now, wait till the interest rate goes up. Many are maxed out on what they can afford regarding mortgages. They have been spoilt for 10 years. Realtors laid on coach tours for foreigners with money and the prices were dirt cheap. Several places in USA have never recovered with some white collar workers living in storm drains across the road from the strip in LV. And Detroit-they can't pay people to take the houses in some areas.
