Are you suggesting I should pay some homeless people to landscape my garden, blah, blah, blah. Boom boom.
|
|
By:
That's alright. I am sure the homeless are reassured that the UK is sending lots of foreign aid to the homeless in other countries!

o yes that's one ray of sunlight and there is always money for war

half of london street sleepers are umm, let me see how do I say this - not from round 'ere, if you know what I mean
|
|
By:
they don't allow them to sleep in the library's in London any more
I think that's wrong, so much as shut your eyes and they give you a warning. |

They have very many ways to harass homeless people in London now., little subtle and insidious ways to make their lives more difficult.

A lot of Ian's friends out there these days.

a lack of affordable homes is the clue

|

plenty of garages and sheds in gardens being used in west london

I assure you it is very very eaay to get on a slippery slope to homelessness and very difficult to reverse it

I would have been on the street if i hadnt have had a car to sleep in and in the 6 months it took to get enough money to get a roof over me, had the car developed a fault my only plan was to torch the car and punch tbe nearest copper..ensuring a roof over my head for the winter

lfc" they have many ways to harrass the homeless " the seats/benches in the london area bus stop shelters narrow as fook and designed to slope so the cant be slept on by the homeless and desperate an example ...........

Staggering amount of homeless and beggars in Peterborough town center today, similar story in Milton Keynes recently, whilst I do have sympathy as no one asks to be in that situation, the constant harassment did become annoying, there were actually rozzers about but didn't seem bothered.

black s speaks the truth
i slept in workplace 1 year not good |

By:
yep i read a magazine article a few years back and it said the average man/family is roughly 6-12 weeks away from being homeless ,starts with job loss, lose car as cant afford repayments , cant pay rent /mortgage a slippery slope from there ,grace of god and all that ,but its is probably quite accurate !

If there weren't so many people in the country the situation would be so much better.
Any slack in the system to cater for our own homeless was used up years ago. The more we look after, the more that want to come here. |

If you think it's bad now, wait till the interest rate goes up. Many are maxed out on what they can afford regarding mortgages. They have been spoilt for 10 years. It's gonna hit the fan sooner or later and the hike will be a real problem. In the depths of the crash in 2008, Las Vegas was the foreclosure capital of the USA. Realtors laid on coach tours for foreigners with money and the prices were dirt cheap. Several places in USA have never recovered with some white collar workers living in storm drains across the road from the strip in LV. And Detroit-they can't pay people to take the houses in some areas.

we cannot go around saying that Dr C mentioning some 5 to 7 million incomers plus unknown millions of illegals is simply racist and I have had to dive into my safe space after reading you nazi based diatribe

what you don't understand is that all these extras contribute more to the economy than take out(don't mention the romanian/bulgarian element either)(or so an eu sponsored UCL report told us) and a few million more do not put pressure on any utilities
get with the agenda |
