A serial conman has admitted pretending his family died in the Grenfell Tower fire to obtain about £12,500 from funds meant for victims.
Anh Nhu Nguyen claimed his wife and son were killed in the blaze.
He posed as a victim of the disaster for almost two weeks and was given the money by charities and Kensington and Chelsea Council.
The 52-year-old, of Beckenham, south-east London, pleaded guilty at Southwark Crown Court on Thursday.

Yes and needed a translator to read the Charges to him ,I bet the cxxt didn't need a translator when they were working out his Payments ...
Why was he Provided with a Translator is my Question, the Cxxt has been in the country 30 years ,No doubt his Lawyer and the Luvvee Civil rights Mob were on hand to help out ,This country has been fckin destroyed

However, a translator is offered to any defendant (on request) whose first language is not english. This is supported by basic common law for obvious reasons.

Is it too obvious that people like this should be shown the door and booted out?
That is sick, he should be placed on a list for every council in the U.K. who would be able to question his right to benefits .
Reminds me of the manchester bombing concert, where they offered people affected by the bombing free tickets for the one love concert, over 10 000 people who we not even there at original concert applied for tickets with loads appearing on ticket sites ebay etc to make a few quid, greedy lowlife bstards.
