Obviously more to it than a knee grope then!
He could have ridden that out, but was advised to jump.

Would that mean he doesn't have to answer more questions and counter further accusations?

Or does he leave government so as to protect government and separate government from damage?
If so, does it work?

I'd have thought she'd be more worried about getting accused!

Between 2002 and 2004, Fallon regularly claimed £1,255 per month in capital repayments and interest, rather than the £700-£800 for the interest component alone. After his error was noticed by staff at the Commons Fees Office in September 2004, he asked: "Why has no one brought this to my attention before?"  He repaid £2,200 of this over-claim, but was allowed to offset the remaining £6,100 against his allowance. After realising they had failed to notice the excessive claims, Commons staff reportedly suggested Fallon submit fresh claims which would "reassign" the surplus payments to other costs he had legitimately incurred.

He was banned from driving for 18 months in 1983 after admitting a drunk driving offence during the general election campaign

none of that worthy of not being a cabinet minister.......

Wrongly or rightly I think it does work SF. As mmm says lots more to come out on him.

Not sure the first paragraph would exclude him Donny.
Nearly every MP has fallen foul of 'expense rules' at one time or another.
He was open in his claims which were accepted then rejected.
He had claimed for something he wasn't entitled to and not claimed when he could have on other items.

Yes, calmed and reasoned as he stood on the Russian border saying the Britain would quite happily launch a pre-emptive nuclear strike.
