Julia Hartley Brewer

Hitting out at a  “media feeding frenzy” over rumours, she added that in 20 years of political reporting she saw “only a small number of MPs from all parties” involved in sexual harassment.

“I believe it is absurd and wrong to treat workplace banter and flirting – and even misjudged sexual overtures – between consenting adults as being morally equivalent to serious sexual harassment or assault,” she said in a statement.

“It demeans genuine victims of real offences. Anyone with any allegations against an MP, or anyone else, should speak up now and provide the evidence to ensure any necessary action is taken.”

'By all laws of probability that man thought about something sexually related while in the same room as me, whether it was about me or not is irrelevant.'

All my life women have often kissed me on the cheek the way the French do all the time when they meet and greet people.  We'll have to abolish this custom now.

In the future, according to the pc brigade we will all be gender neutral so it won't be a problem. Thankfully I won't be around to witness it.

The courts are going to be extremely busy very shortly then, with women now free to take down any man they wish. We are ALL going to jail.

Just think of all the business from the  WebCam Girls alone. They will be launching serial legal actions against their online viewers for their sexual propositions.

Not that I'd know anything about that obviously Your Honour.

The next time you want to ask a women (or your wife) to go to bed with you, make sure you have a lawyer beside you, ideally with some sort of Letter of Consent for her to sign, and a representative from the European Court of Justice as a witness.

That should just about pass the scrutiny of the UK Courts, although I can't guarantee whether the media won't request that other women 'come forward' to say if you've propositioned them without the necessary "Permission to Make An Approach" documentation.

You don't want to waste hundreds of pounds an hour filling out legal paperwork. I expect the lawyer won't come cheap either.
