Whilst enjoying my, almost perfect, boiled eggs I pondered the question as to which is the most used technique to reach that delicious yolk!

I'm a 'slicer', but I'm thinking that 'crackers' will be more favoured!

Which are you?

I'm a cracker. I don't use eggcups but prefer to attack them from the side in order to dip a bigger piece of bread in creamy runny yolk.

Dippy eggs and soldiers was a staple dish growing up as a kid (I was a slicer)but these days I only eat poached eggs which I've got down to a fine art even if I say so myself. Two English muffins, 4 crispy rashers and 2 runny poached eggs is my ideal breakfast.

I used to bash my eggs' head in - much to the chagrin of my parents.  Now I just cut their heads off.  The eggs.

Lol Foin, I'll try that!

A slicer and always in an eggcup.
No better taste than that first dip with the toast.

Slippy - so you break eggs and Hammers' hearts!

Good luck to you.
