I retired at 24.  Had a supposedly decent job, but got fed up of working for - and with - absolute bellends.  Decided to take VR and punt for three months or so while another job worked itself out.  That was 10 years ago.  Am financially comfortable and can dip in and out of this whenever I want.  Wouldn't dream of going back to regular work unless I absolutely had to.

Don't have life insurance, but won't be saddling my family with any debt if I do croak it.  Life insurance always seems like a poor value bet to me, so I can't bring myself to take it out.
