If you're using Firefox..

..switch to Firefox Quantum, it's not fully available until the 14th November, but you can use the beta and it's a huge improvement, it really is a lot quicker (even on this forum) and uses less resources.
All of your bookmarks, add ons etc remain exactly as they were.
