Someone died and left Barney a house worth 130 grand. The tax man wanted to catch Barney for tax so he approached Barney for inheritance tax.
So Barney put an add in the national paper saying MAN RAFFLEING HOUSE ONE POUND PER TICKET.
barney sold 400 thousand tickets at one pound a piece and made a tidy profit and some guy got the house for a quid.
A true story.Grin

Don't get me wrong Barney is a very decent man and works tireless for a charity(not sure of the name). He is very generous man.
Not too long ago he was elected Chairman of this new charity(its for the sick) and Rte screened the opening day.The interviewed asked Barney how he intended to raise money for the charity .This went out on the national news at 6 pm.
And barney replied to the interviewer "I have a couple of plans to raise money but I will not tell anyone my business while im on the main news"Grin. The room filled with laughter when he said it.Grin
