Fined because a deal they struck with Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean Claude Juncker was illegal. Known for his raging thirst Juncker, I wonder what became of him when he had served his minuscule country?

Shame our government can't fine big companies who don't pay tax as they undercut and close smaller opposition, who would have had to pay theirs!
Shame it's the EU that has to do it.
Amazon (and all the other avoiders) should be made to pay every penny, or bog off somewhere else and let others who would pay up take their place.

Indeed, these giant companies are being allowed to take over the world with cheap labour and next to no tax paid to the host.
Every country would be individually richer if people were prepared to pay a little more and new where the money went on their purchase.
