Just accentuated that it was a 64yr old WHITE man who carried out the Las Vegas shootings.
If (and you just know it folks)it had been a black man then his colour would NOT have been mentioned.

The inference was that it was not a musso terrorist attack. It was not ashley an inference of a white man attack or a loon attack or a nazi attack, just not by a musso. Generally speaking black men do not gun down complete strangers statistically.

If anything the sort of people associated with country music are conservative minded, that's the stereotype, so you'd wonder why any "right winger" would attack them, not matter how much of a total nutcase they were, and clearly this guy was mental sc-m. E.g. "A 2004 Gallup survey found nearly 60 percent of country fans identify more strongly with Republicans, compared with 11 percent who identify as liberal"

It would be hypocritical not to think on first hearing the news that it might be an Islamic terrorist attack .
To not do so with such things happening on a daily basis in all parts of the world , and in almost all cases by non white muslim extremists. That's why it is unusual for the BBC to mention that it was a white person, they don't mention the colour of the attackers at every other attack . |
