in my younger days I used to work in the bookies for about a year or so. Some of the sh1tholes I used to get sent to on some days I saw plenty of hardcore violence. No CCTV back then either, I doubt its as bad as that now.

Re: violence I was never a Victim had a few Nutters in on Occasions, Inclding one Chap who would always arrive with a Bottle of Scotch and expect me to have a Drink with him These people playing the FOBT's are not punters not sure what they are tbh .. The places are a scurge on the High Street ,The poor staff, little more than Machine Minders ,Very sad  Females left on their own of an evening is a Disgrace to the industry . |

Government as usual to blame with its regulations that endanger workers.
If they allowed unlimited FOBTs per shop then the marginal single-manned bookie would close due to market forces. |
