Cowboys & Aliens.....

I saw it at the cinema and thought it was average and then watched it last year on the small screen and realised it was bloody awful

I thought it was part of the aliens franchise
Aliens v preditor, winner stays on and takes on the cowboys

Daniel Craig and  Harrison Ford what the hell were they thinking.

Was decent, up until the that intense scene where we finally get to see the alien up close and it turns out to be a giant frog

I watched this a few weeks ago

I watched it for the first time and didn't think it was too bad, certainly better than Enders Game or Pacific Rim.

Yes, this was very good. The most memorable part being when Richard Briers character was trying to outrun the pursuing zombies with his zimmer frame.

As for C v A, surely the alien craft would have been powered by anti-gravity and extra dimensional portals like normal flying saucers, not rocket powered.
