i bought a guardian one saturday about 10 years ago but didnt enjoy it

i bought several daily mail issues when they were giving away cds,

i used to subscribe to times or telegraph, ...whichever gave me best deal

i think i prefered telegraph

i dont buy papers these days, too expensive, imo

Yes and Yes.

But not for a few years.  The last time was in the era when a lot of the UK papers were giving away free DVDs.

I've bought both. The daily mail has sometimes had more interesting stuff included that's caught my eye, at the weekend when I was buying a lottery ticket, but I've never regularly bought it, it's not what I'd buy if I'm buying a paper to actually read. Guardian I just wouldn't buy now on principle, the Mail would at least admit I'm sure it biases stuff, the Grauniad does it while trying to pretend it's morally superior. They can only have so many articles calling brexit voters (> 50% of voters) racists and fascists before people migt take offence, and then there was the "it's not their fault it's ours" type coverage of the New Year refugee s-x pests story. Just two exmaples. They don't come back from that.

That reminds me, not checked my lottery ticket for last couple weeks Laugh

Some interesting denials. Lord only knows how this thread would have gone, if the question had been about blow up dolls and feather dusters.

You can save money on expensive newspapers by simply reading the news online two days previously. HTH.
