"We failed to suspend the market on time so we voided the bets" would have been apt explanation for why my account was secretly plundered after racing finished yesterday.

Not if you're a BF customer services rep, who takes a full five minutes to arrive at the explanation by way of inconsequential meanderings about the markets generally yesterday and leaves you SEETHING.
